Not only are young people dying of sudden cardiac death, but their families are losing them without understanding why or how these tragedies might have been prevented. These tragedies continue because there remains a need for education, early detection, interventional information, research, and public awareness. Because of this, we are aware that we must be prepared to move to yet higher levels of effectiveness.
